Hello everyone.. good day!!!!
This afternoon,, after the rain, i went to our backyard to find a butterfly and photograph..
as i was approaching to our backyard, i saw my cat Benjie and the chicken looking like they are playing with something.. and I saw the grasshopper trying to escape the 2 giant monsters.. 🤣
but it was unusual that the grasshopper can't hop high,, it just crawls on the grass.. Benjie was trying to slap the grasshopper and the chicken tried to peck it.. but Benjie tried to shoo the chicken away.. Benjie wants to play with it and doesn't want to eat it...
I took the poor grasshopper away from Benjie and put it on top of a twig that he can't reach.. I took some photos because I think i won't find any butterflies anymore.. it was then when i notice that this insect is GWD (Grasshopper with disability) maybe that's the reason why it can't hop and was only crawling..
It has only 1 hind leg.. and the only hind leg it has, was also cut..
