Hoy es jueves de #TBT y no pude evitar volver a este viaje que marcó mi año de una forma muy especial, no solo porque estuve con personas increíbles, sino porque, de cierta manera, fue un viaje lleno de momentos únicos; celebramos el cumpleaños de Fer, nos reunimos con amigos increíbles que viajaron de Barranquilla a Bogotá solo para acompañarnos esos días y, por supuestoo, despedimos a mi suegra de la ciudad que fue su hogar durante los últimos dos años. De hecho, una de las razones por las que viajabamos tan seguido a Bogotá era para visitarla a ella, así que ya se podrán imaginar la falta que nos hace.
Hay experiencias que no solo se quedan en las fotos, sino que se sienten todavía como el clima, los paisajes, las risas, la comida, la música, en pocas palabras, todo. Fue un viaje donde pudimos desconectarnos un poco y simplemente vivir el momento. Y claro, a disfrutar de la mejor compañía. Cada lugar que visité esta vez me encantó por completo, desde un pequeño local donde probé açai por primera vez, hasta la cascada escondida de un restaurante en la carretera de Antioquia.
En este viaje me dediqué a vivir experiencias nuevas y a cumplir con algunos pendientes de mi lista, como subirme a juegos extremos en el salitre mágico, visité por fin ese restaurante de hamburguesas y cervezas en el centro de Bogotá que siempre me quedaba pendiente, viajamos en avión por primera vez con nuestras perritas, y descubrí una tienda asiática que me enamoró por completo, entre otras cositas que logramos hacer. Eso si, si algo me dejó claro esta experiencia es que los recuerdos más bonitos no se planean tanto, simplemente se sienten, y se quedan.
Así que aquí estoy, reviviendo esta gran aventura y agradeciendo por haberla vivido. Y como siempre, que no falten los viajes como este, con lindas experiencias ❤️.
Today is #TBT Thursday, and I couldn't help but revisit this trip that marked my year in a very special way, not only because I was with incredible people, but also because, in a way, it was a trip full of unique moments. We celebrated Fer's birthday, we met up with incredible friends who traveled from Barranquilla to Bogotá just to be with us during those days, and, of course, we said goodbye to my mother-in-law from the city that had been her home for the last two years. In fact, one of the reasons we traveled to Bogotá so often was to visit her, so you can imagine how much we miss her.
There are experiences that don't just stay in the photos, but are still felt, like the weather, the landscapes, the laughter, the food, the music—in short, everything. It was a trip where we were able to disconnect a little and simply live in the moment. And, of course, enjoy the best company. I absolutely loved every place I visited this time, from a small shop where I tried açai for the first time to the hidden waterfall at a restaurant on the road to Antioquia.
On this trip, I dedicated myself to new experiences and to checking off some items on my bucket list, such as riding extreme rides at the magical Salitre park, finally visiting that hamburger and beer restaurant in downtown Bogotá that I had always wanted to try, flying with our dogs for the first time, and discovering an Asian store that I completely fell in love with, among other things we managed to do. That said, if this experience made one thing clear to me, it's that the most beautiful memories aren't planned so much as they are simply felt, and they stay with you.
So here I am, reliving this great adventure and grateful to have experienced it. And as always, may there be many more trips like this one, filled with beautiful experiences ❤️.
