🔹 They are soft-bodied, shellless terrestrial gastropod mollusks. 🔹 They are usually found in moist places, gardens, farmlands and bushes. 🔹 Their bodies are elongated, brown or gray in color and secrete a type of mucus from their bodies when moving, which helps them move easily. 🔹 They eat vegetables, flowers and leaves, which is why they are often considered as harmful insects or pests in agriculture. 🔹 However, they have an important role in the environment, because they help increase soil fertility by breaking down organic matter.
