Well, the restaurants are openning up slowly out here in Western Australia, under very strict conditions. Currently only 20 patrons at a time are allowed into the restaurant or pub, and must order a meal with their drinks, and can only stay for a 90 minute session before the next group comes in. Our local restaurant openned for the first time in 2 months tonight, and we were lucky enough to snag a booking for dinner before they were all gone.
It was quite a strange experience sitting at a table with nobody else near use, and only about 5 tables in use throughout the whole place. No hustle and bustle, no clanging glasses and nobody allowed up to the bar, except to collect take home orders.
It's not everyday you get to be the only one at the bar at 8pm on a Friday night.
We enjoyed our dinner, amd decided to take home a few cans of the cider we drank with our meals. The cans are poured straight from the tap, amd then sealed on the canning machine right at the bar. Fresh! These are some big cans too!! Almost 1 litre...
This was a crisp, clear and medium sweet cider, brewed onsite. One of my favourite, ajd now that I know we can get giant take home cans from them, they'll be in good supply in my fridge at home.
It was sooooo good to be able to go out for a meal again. I hope everyone gets to do that soon where they are too.
Stay safe everyone, and have a great weekend!
