Splinterlands 101 - Ep 194: Ruleset Challenge - Heavy Hitters

Matt can't help but mention (once or twice) that he had a flawless victory in his last brawl with 8-0. Well done Matt!

Last week on the show with @bjangles I mentioned that I was waiting for the next SPS dip, to buy in a little more. Well SPS has dipped down to 0.0074, however, Hive is also quite down at the moment too at only 0.178 even though it's been holding steady for a while well over 20c. So swapping some Hive right now for SPS would not be taking advantage of the SPS dip, so I will be keeping an eye on them.

and also last week, just before the end of the show, a live land deal started going down with @bjangles and myself. Well we completed that deal, with me sending BJ my Kithden wood plot and him sending me another stone plot in Queenstone. Having the same land type though and producing the same resource (stone) I realised I had nothing decent left to put on the land, as all my big boys were already there, so I had to buy 5 additional cards.

So I bought 1 maxed GF legendary and 4 maxed GF Epics for the plot.

So that now gives me 4 plots quarrying stone, for a total of 300.29 stone per hour.

Land continued to dominate the conversation from that point on with both Matt and myself discussing further improvements to be considered.

Then it's onto the Battle Section of the show, continuing on with our Ruleset Challenge theme, utilizing the customable challenge feature of the game, and going through the rulesets alphabetically, one episode at a time. This week being the Heavy Hitters Ruleset where all cards have the Knock Out Ability.

So if you want to see some strategies based around picking your teams, defensively, or aggressively for this ruleset, then you're in the right place, because we share our reasons for team selection, as one of us shares our screen while picking our team. Then once the teams are submitted, we discuss our thoughts on the line-ups and make our predictions on how we think the battle will play out. Then of course the excitement of the real-time commentary as the battles actually play out 😎
