Hi everyone!

Staying in Cornwall for a few more posts- this time focusing on Penzance towards the very end of the county.

Every so often when I visit, weather isn't quite on side but I make the most of it. Also, despite what the weather forecast is, it can change from one hour to the next. Case and point is that evening where an amazing golden hour presented itself so I just had to walk along the promenade to the harbour.

I arrived at a park which is next to a small church yard at the top of a small hill. The church commands presence over the town below. The golden sunlight reflects off the tower.

Me quedo en Cornualles para publicar algunas entradas más, esta vez centrándome en Penzance, al final del condado.

A veces, cuando visito, el tiempo no acompaña, pero lo aprovecho al máximo. Además, independientemente del pronóstico, puede cambiar de una hora a otra. Un ejemplo de ello fue aquella tarde, cuando se presentó una hora dorada increíble, así que simplemente tuve que caminar por el paseo marítimo hasta el puerto.

Llegué a un parque junto a un pequeño cementerio en la cima de una pequeña colina. La iglesia domina el pueblo. La dorada luz del sol se refleja en la torre.

Looking north along Chapel Street into the centre of town. On this trip I realised that whenever I visit Penzance, I mainly fly in areas along the seafront without even considering flying around the town. Something I will need to do in the future is to fly to the north end near the railway station and a small harbour.

The building that dwarfs others next to it is a methodist church.

Mirando hacia el norte por Chapel Street hacia el centro de la ciudad. En este viaje me di cuenta de que, siempre que visito Penzance, vuelo principalmente en zonas costeras sin siquiera considerar la posibilidad de rodear la ciudad. Algo que tendré que hacer en el futuro es volar al extremo norte, cerca de la estación de tren y un pequeño puerto.

A unique layout of gardens with a road going through the middle! ¡Un diseño único de jardines con un camino que los atraviesa por el medio! Ongoing work at a very small park opposite the Jubilee Pool. There is also a new residential development attached to it at the centre of the image.

After 10,000 trips over the past 48 years, it is due to be retired with a replacement ship coming soon.

The Jubilee Pool is a lido fed by sea water and famous for its unique shape. The blue area is a heated portion where visitors can enjoy 23 degree water.

La Piscina Jubilee es una piscina de agua salada, famosa por su singular forma. La zona azul es una zona climatizada donde los visitantes pueden disfrutar del agua a 23 grados.
