Ambushed in the Hotel Basement.

 While heading to the hospital, I explored a hotel-like building through its basement, only to discover an unexpected trap. What seemed like a quiet loot stop turned into a brutal ambush by WLF soldiers. After a tense melee fight and close calls, I cleared them all before finally upgrading my gear.  After I struggled with the conference center, loot, I continued my journey towards the hospital and I noticed a lot more buildings on my way ahead.   There was this big building that looked like a hotel. I tried the front door, which was obviously locked from the inside. So I thought I was not getting inside as there was no space for breaking the glass as well.   Then I noticed this alternative way that went to the basement part of the building. The window was surprisingly open, so I looked inside first, before getting there. You know, safety first.   I climbed up to the ground floor and opened a door that made a sound as someone used some bottles there on the door, like an alarm system. My suspense was getting hotter, so I opened the main door first so it'd be easier to escape in an emergency.   I climbed up and infiltrated an apartment where I got even more surprised seeing fresh plants with fresh vegetables. It felt like someone was there, so I was being careful.  And there was this workbench that I needed to upgrade some of my gears, so I went for it.   And suddenly, this WLF soldier came out of nowhere and attacked me. It was like an ambush; they already knew my presence there.  I hit him with a glass jar and then I used the melee weapon to take him down when one more of them came over carrying a shotgun.   When the lady with the shotgun was looking for a clean shot, there came another one of them and I attacked him first.  I could shoot the lady down but I was more in melee action now, so I ran to her before she could shoot me and I hit him with the axe and I took her down.   Then there was this last WLF soldier whom I beat up first and he got scared. My axe was damaged but I still had my knife to attack him and he started begging for his life. I knew he'd attack me once I let him live, so I didn't make the mistake; I took him down.  Once I was done with the ambushers, I went back to the workbench and was upgrading my gears when I was thinking if they'd show up if I ignored using the workbench.
