Trails of the WLF.

 I pushed through Ruston Coffee's ruins, facing WLF soldiers and their relentless dogs. A broken silencer turned stealth into chaos, forcing brutal fights in the dark mall. After blood and noise, I scavenged upgrades and pressed forward, my path marked by corpses, and a faint WLF trail.  So, I went close to Ruston Coffee and noticed the road was broken. I had to get inside the café knowing I won't have a cup for me. And I had to get to the other side of the road and follow the WLF soldier's trail.   I went to the back of Ruston Coffee and found this ladder to a roof where I found a big hole on the roof. Without thinking much, I jumped through the roof hoping there won't be any Shamblers waiting for me.   Well, no Shamblers, and no monsters. There were peoples, WLF soldiers with guard dogs and their guard smelled me and started barking so Ellie had to keep a distance.   I was suggested to keep distance from the dog and from my last location so the dog can't keep smelling me so I was trying to get away from it.  But one of the soldiers stayed guard at the entrance and I was about to shoot her with the silencer gun but the silencer got broken at that exact moment.   The other soldier and the dog heard the gunshots. The dog jumped on me and I was too late to dodge. I had to push the dog away and then I shot it down.   I hardly shot the other soldier down and then suddenly another one of them came by taking a guard dog. I didn't give this dog a chance to jump on me. I shot the dog first and then the soldier.   After trying a bandage, I left that spot and changed my location as I heard noise of other soldiers around. There I found more of them and I used the shotgun to blow up their thick heads.  When I was done taking all of them down, I went out to check on them and found one of the body missing its entire head and a full arm. Such a horrible scene, huh?   There was this red exit door of a devastated mall and through there, I was going somewhere. I noticed this WLF sign on the wall there.   After reaching this spot, I was confused where to go or what to do next. Then I noticed I could open up this gate that let a big bin wheel down. Then I pushed it towards a roof with small height where Ellie could jump anyway.   After jumping on the roof, the bin went down auto and then I used a big hole on the wall to get into this cycle store where I found a workbench, that I used to upgrade some gears.   I came out of the cycle store and noticed I was on the other side, where I should've been actually and there was this liquor shop which I could ignore, but I was going inside to try my luck 😜 We'll check what happens next in another post. --- Image Source: In game screenshots.
