Have you ever been in a plane? Your flight just took off, and suddenly you see yourself breaking through the clouds. You see the big and amazing orange sun, glowing all by itself to its glory.
Then on the ground, you might think it is gray during the day, and you see we always see the sun as a distant memory always. But up there, above the clouds, it sees it shines always, always shines, untouched by the storms below. That moment really hit me like a mere revelation: even the days you can't see the sun, it is always there.
This is how I just come to realize that something deeper is happening. God is always there too, even when we are doubting clouds or when those doubting clouds are view, he is still there with us. Very stormy days that sometimes maybe you're facing a challenge that has left you feeling very lost, or maybe some doubts have beginning to creep in your mind, make you wonder if actually God exists or God stop listening to you. I've been in this kind of situation, staring at the sky to your own heart, you keep wondering why the light went off.
Right, we remind you of a simple truth: that clouds you are seeing doesn't make the sun disappear and go somewhere else. They just block the view of the sun. In the same way, also your doubts, your worries, your challenges, and troubles block your view to notice the presence of God in you. So now this doesn't mean that God has left you. God is steady and steady and unchanging, waiting for us to trust any his divine help.
The beauty of this truth is that no matter how thick or dark are we are temporary or they're going, they won't eventually, but they still have to give way to the sword which is mightier than them. So the same way it goes through all the challenges and troubles in our lives, no matter how heavy they feel, they are no, they cannot match the power of God. The power of God supersedes them.
The Bible says in Psalm chapter 30 verse 5 that do joy come back in the morning, weeping endure for a night. This not just a scene of to make you feel up your, it's a promise. And if you can hold on to this kind of faith, even when we think things are hard for us, God we trouble all those things that I mean, but that you have a battling to go on to the Scatterlily cloud comes off and shows his mighty self by shining through the sky.
I think about those plane rides. And it's a matter of when life gets tough, it's a matter to still lift my eyes above the clouds, see through the clouds to tell that God is still here, and his light is still shining, even when you can't still feel it yet. So faith isn't just about always feeling the presence of God. It's about knowing he's there no matter what goes on.
So if you are just in that season, please don't lose heart. You have to keep trusting, keep praying, and keep looking. With time, the clouds will part, and you will see the sun again, brighter than ever.
