Today was one of those classic “office chair glue” days, back-to-back calls, endless screens, and a to-do list that keeps breeding like rabbits. But instead of giving in, I carved out 30 minutes and slipped outside for a walk.
The reward? Wide skies, paths cutting through golden grass, and two horses who looked like they were auditioning for a shampoo commercial. For a moment, it wasn’t about deadlines or data, it was about clouds drifting across a blue canvas and the sound of hooves shifting in the dirt.
By the time I got back, nothing had changed in my inbox… except me. And that’s the point. Walking isn’t wasted time, it’s the reset button that makes the next stretch of work actually doable.
Time well spent.
