Two walks today, two completely different vibes.
The first was on the treadmill, dialed up to a 10% incline while a presentation droned on in the background. Honestly, the treadmill was the real MVP! Keeping me awake and making multitasking feel like a tiny life hack. Who says work calls can’t double as leg day?
The second was pure therapy. After dinner, I stepped outside and was met with skies that felt like they were hand-painted, orange fire blending into soft blues, the kind of view that slows your pace just so you can stretch out the moment. The canal mirrored it all back, doubling the beauty like a screensaver you wish you could live in.
Movement doesn’t always have to be epic or Instagram-worthy. Grinding uphill while half-listening to slides, other times it’s wandering under a masterpiece sky has its merits as well. Either way, both walks carried me forward, and that’s the point.
