Busy is an understatement right now. We’re talking the kind of busy where you high-five yourself just for remembering to hydrate. Still, despite the calendar chaos, I carved out time for a 5K walk yesterday—no more, no less. Just enough to keep my brain from melting and my body from stiffening into a desk chair fossil.
The path was calm, lined with trees that look like they’re trying to one-up each other in a fall fashion show. The skies were moody, the canal mirror-still. It was the kind of quiet that makes your phone feel unnecessary, and your to-do list suddenly not that urgent.
I didn’t have the headspace to post it yesterday, but that’s okay. Progress doesn’t always need to be on display in real time. It just needs to happen. And it did.
So here’s the recap: 📍 Canal-side calm 🚶♂️ 5,000 steps 🧠 Sanity: semi-preserved 🍂 Fall feels: fully activated
