Today was a good walking day. I managed to get out and cover just over 3 miles, which felt refreshing and gave me the chance to enjoy both some exercise and some Pokémon GO time. My walk lasted a little over an hour, and by the end I had burned a few hundred calories and racked up more than 7,000 steps. Even though my big goal is to reach 10 km in a day, I’m happy with the progress and excited to keep building up my distance.
Playing Pokémon GO while walking makes the whole thing so much more fun. I’ve been playing since 2016, and I’m still going strong at level 41. Today I caught a Lapras that popped up along the way, which was a nice surprise. I also completed a couple of research tasks, so the grind definitely paid off. Each walk not only helps me get healthier but also gets me closer to reaching the next milestones in the game.
One of the challenges I’ve set for myself is to evolve all of my Eevees into every different evolution. Each one has its own special way of evolving, and I like that it makes the process feel like a little adventure. Whether it’s walking with Eevee during the day for Espeon, at night for Umbreon, or using special lures for Glaceon and Leafeon, there’s always something to work toward. It gives me extra motivation to keep walking and keep playing.
Another feature I’ve really been enjoying is the new Party mode in Pokémon GO. It’s been fun teaming up with friends to complete challenges together. So far, I’ve done 30 of them with my group, and as a reward, I got a really cool Eeveelution shirt for my trainer. It’s a reminder that this game isn’t just about catching Pokémon—it’s also about connecting with people and sharing those little wins together.
All in all, today felt like a good step forward—literally and figuratively. I got in some miles, had fun with friends, and made progress toward my Eevee evolution goals. Tomorrow, I’ll lace up again and see how much closer I can get to that 10 km target. Every day is another chance to move, play, and enjoy the journey.
