What's good, everybody? It is your boy, charlie!
Last week I tried doing a post to battle people in a small challenge on Pokemon Showdown for actual rewards. I was saddened because it didn't seem like I had too many biters. Just like on YouTube, we have to build up the creator networks, and with communities and tribes in place, we have the tools to build each other up. I may not be a developer, but I feel this could be an experiment to test the real power of the platform. That is the primary reasoning for my post today.
I want to send out a homing beacon to creators in my area to develop a small local network. If I could develop a small team of creators to make content together nearby, we would be able to help each other grow. By working with locals in my area that are familiar with the platform, I want to connect with people who can help spread the word on the ground. Together it would be possible to build our brands and move forward with our goals utilizing this platform. We, as creators, can create STEEMIT contests, networking events, and post collaborations to help do marketing that will pull in users.
So again, let's see how much power this community has. Even if you know someone on the platform, please tag them in the comments.
Drop me a comment down below if you live in the Western Massachusetts area. Let's link up and discuss plans to grow on the platform or discuss the possibility of creating content. I don't know I see a lot of creators out there who post directly about STEEMIT things and initiatives, and all I'm asking for is a quick connection. If I make a friend just from STEEMIT in another part of the world, we can still call this a win for the day
