It all started with the insistence of my father, who wanted to go to Tucacas. Honestly, I had never been to that beach, so I told him excitedly: "Well, let's go and see what it's like there". He was very happy with my answer, set the date and, together with some cousins and uncles, we organized the trip. We booked a rental at an inn that was spectacular; it had a swimming pool and an ideal place to barbecue, not to mention that it was literally in front of the sea.

Todo empezó con la insistencia de mi padre, quien quería ir a Tucacas. Sinceramente, yo nunca había ido a esa playa, así que le dije emocionado: "Bueno, vamos y vemos cómo es allá". Él se alegró mucho con mi respuesta, agendó la fecha y, junto con algunos primos y tíos, organizamos el viaje. Reservamos un alquiler en una posada que estaba espectacular; tenía piscina y un lugar ideal para hacer parrilla, sin contar que, literalmente, estaba frente al mar.

The day we arrived, the excitement was palpable. The smell of the sea and the fresh breeze welcomed us with open arms. During those three days at the posada, we enjoyed activities such as swimming in the pool, playing in the sand and delicious barbecues in the evening. One afternoon, we decided to go out to explore nearby and found a small market where we bought crafts and souvenirs to take home. That experience made me feel more connected to the local culture and, of course, I made some new friends.

El día que llegamos, la emoción era palpable. El olor a mar y la brisa fresca nos recibieron con los brazos abiertos. Durante esos tres días en la posada, disfrutamos de actividades como nadar en la piscina, jugar en la arena y hacer asados deliciosos por la noche. Una tarde, decidimos salir a explorar las cercanías y encontramos un pequeño mercado donde compramos artesanías y recuerdos que llevaríamos a casa. Esa experiencia me hizo sentir más conectado con la cultura local y, por supuesto, hice algunos amigos nuevos.
