The Division of Germany into Denominations
Reformation Day is celebrated in nine German federal states and is therefore an official public holiday. Protestants and Catholics are splitting the country into two camps, even in the year 2025.
Worldwide, religions are once again a reason for people to get angry and worse. Whether it's the radical Christians who significantly influence laws in the USA or state-enforced atheism in China.
In times of uncertainty about the future, religions seem to be the first choice. Whether in the social media bubble or in the house of worship, echo chambers are forming everywhere.
The self-reinforcing hatred for everything outside of these chambers has become palpable. One would think humanity should be more advanced, but history repeats itself not only in the stock market.
In a still democratic country like Germany, one could of course set an example and retire some Christian holidays. In contrast, there would then be holidays that have absolutely nothing to do with religion, with which everyone can identify.

Die Spaltung Deutschlands in Konfessionen
Der Reformationstag wird in Deutschland in neun Bundesländern gefeiert und ist somit offizieller Feiertag. Evangelen und Katholiken spalten das Land in zwei Lager und das im Jahr 2025.
Weltweit sind die Religionen mal wieder ein Grund sich aufzuregen und Schlimmeres. Ob es jetzt die radikalen Christen sind die maßgeblich Gesetze bestimmen in den USA oder aber diktierter Atheismus in China.
In Zeiten von Unsicherheit über die Zukunft sind Religionen erste Wahl wie es scheint. Ob nun in der Social Media Bubble oder aber im Gotteshaus, überall bilden sich Echokammern.
Der selbstverstärkende Hass auf alles andere außerhalb dieser Kammer ist spürbar geworden. Eigentlich sollte man denken die Menschheit sollte weiter sein aber die Zeiten wiederholen sich nicht nur an der Börse.
In einem noch demokratischen Land wie Deutschland könnte man natürlich ein Zeichen setzen und so einige christliche Feiertage beerdigen. Im Gegensatz gibt es dann Feiertage die absolut nichts mit Religion zu tun haben, wo jeder sich damit identifizieren kann.
