TRAVELLING TO THE CITY OF GENTLE PEOPLE

**What's up Hive Folks! How's everyone doing?** *This part of the New Beginning Series will be about our adventure together with my father from our hometown to Dumaguete City, which is the part 01 of 21st in Island of Siquijor.* I wasn't expecting to have an adventure trip with my father to Dumaguete City up to the Siquijor Island. I am very much thankful for this opportunity that my father worked hard for, to I be experienced what my country's islands treasured. Before reaching out to Dumaguete City we travel on road from Bacolod South Road to our destination. I taken few pictures while driving on road and this is the only picture that is more clear. While we were riding, we saw different kinds of scenic-beauty that the nature holds. I was hooked up to the sceneries that we passed by through, and we almost travel 5 hours. So if you chose to travel on road, better empty your bladder HAHAHA just kidding. We arrived before lunch, and in evening we have a little walk in the Rizal Boulevard. Actually, we were lucky to sight the night lights. The boulevard was picturesque. And we have our dinner at the [Jo's Chicken Inato](https://web.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571880564698). The food was delish and one of my favorite was their Calamares. Before leaving the City. One of my father's friend told us to visit first a tourist attraction, the Tierra Alta Residential Resort. It has an infinity pool, coffee house, glass bridge, and a light house. If you are visiting within the Dumaguete City, I suggest you folks to visit this place, it is breathtaking, I mean it, and for sure you'll gonna love it. It was a good way to relax and feel the gentle welcoming comfort of staff here. We roamed the place and saw this stone signage, and around it has different kinds of flowers and plants. In my wonder, it was a bonfire but is it? My idea of bonfire is that you can create a bonfire and sit around it and you can also cook marshmallow. And up to this day, I still don't know why this placed in beside the pathway and around with plants and flowers. Idk?... maybe honoring someone that named is nicco? or the plants and flowers was owned by nicco's? Still a mystery HAHAHA... Literally when we visit the place, it was a sunny day but when we enter the residential resto it suddenly clouded. The left side photo, was the first thing you see before entering the residential village and on the right rise, was the entrance way and also the booking station of the resort. Going to end my part 01 here. This is my...actually our first father-daughter trip to the City of Dumaguete. This part of the tale is about the city before the island.
