The word we live in today often see meditation as an act of emptying the mind or maybe engaging in practices that involves mystical acts, but according what we were taught in this gospel, the bible did not speak against meditation as it is deeply rooted in the world of God. From the perspective of a Christian , it has to do with intentionally reflecting on the world of God. Focusing on not just reading the word of God , but also on the Commandments ,promises and the letting them to serve as a guide to the lives we live daily. With this , we can actually see that engaging in this practices as Christians will help us a believers to draw closer to God and the make sure that our lives is according to his will. Psalm 1:2 says: “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” According to the verse we just read, taking delight in the word of God, thinking of ways to live with it. This has to do with take a moment to reflect on how to love others and be a blessing to the community at large. So at the end, we were meant to understand that we should not see medication as a mystical ritual, but as a form of spiritual discipline. So if we can practice it in the right way, it will nourish our obedience, make our faith more strong , and give us peace of mind.
