In a lot of ways , excuses show up, most people might set the blame on their health for not being able to chase their dreams or pursuing their career. For some, their age might be the reason for not starting up a career, while for some , they are waiting for the perfect time to start which will never come. In some situations , this reason might be true or real , but most times it is just a smoke screen for self-doubt , or lack of confidence within.

looking around , one may discover that their are alot of people that actually face challenges that are much more bigger than you but still made it. Some did not have any means of starting a business but still found a way to grow.
Others go back to school later in life and start fresh careers. Their secret isn’t luck. It’s the decision to stop blaming circumstances and start taking action.
One of my problem with excuses is that you feel safe in it, if you eventually say that you can not do anything, you protected yourself from the consequences of having to fail, but you also block yourself from potential growth. So you see, excuses are just like little small walls standing between you and your goals, the more you keep making excuses, the more the wall keep building.
To solve this , you first need to focus on what you can control. It is true that a lot of things happen to us , there are some of the things that you can control and cannot control. You can not control your past , or the economy, but you can control your habits, efforts, and mindset. These small but steady actions will eventually break those walls.

For a while , you might feel better with excuses, but that comfort it offers you comes at the expense of your future. the first step towards growth is action , it might not be perfect , but it can build your confidence.
