We are meant to understand by the Bible that we were created in God's image.
Most people might be confused by this thinking that God must look like us.
But the truth here is that God is not a human being but a spirit.
This is seen as a clear reason why we are warned by the Bible not to represent God in any physical image.
He is far greater than anything we can imagine.
Let us now ask ourselves,what then is the meaning when the Bible says that we are created in God's image? It is mostly about how we leave our life,and not how we look.
Our God in heaven is not just righteous,but he is also holy and pure.
We reflect the character of God when we chose to be honest instead of lying,or when we choose to forgive instead revenging.
But if you decide to choose evil and deceit,we are showing the character of the devil who is considered to be the father of al liars
With this , we are reminded that our character is what defines our values and not just our appearance.
Our actions,is what shows that we are truly serving God.
It is our responsibility to carry and show the image of God,it is not just a gift.
We are challenged to live our life in a way that shows we are truly God's children.
