The world is only going to get gayer and gayer over the next 10 years. Some people think I'm kidding or think what I'm saying is hateful or something but it isn't. Yes those options are available but the primary thing was that the women were supposed to be in charge and would reach out to the men first and as most things are structured the men would pay into the service to try to get more matches. When they start out they are in a customer acquisition phase and it is a better value for the users. When they start monetizing it heavier it then isn't as good of a user experience. Something like Bumble is in that situation. They hay day is over.
There was a time of Plenty of Fish and OKCupid and all that and then it went to Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge. As the world has become more gay Grindr was positioned to capture more of that wave.
Earnings Per Share isn't great considering they lost money but $2.9Billion market cap???? That's bigger than the market cap of Bumble if that tells you anything.

All these businesses that benefitted from straight people "dating" are in big trouble. There have been two theaters go out of business close to me. There are such a large percentage of single people that they aren't going out and doing any of this stuff. Eating Out, Going To The Movies, Going To Bars. For one most people aren't landing any matches or actually meeting anyone in person off the dating apps. The numbers got so bad that you essentially have to be the upper 1% male to actually convert completely as far as actually meeting a chick in person.
Even the guys who were essentially trying to pay for pussy were spending money and not able to meet anyone. I'm not making fun of him but this YouTuber was sharing his experience and he even got on a Sugar Daddy website and blew $600 and tried to meet up with chicks in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and clear to Chicago and couldn't get even 1 chick to meet up with him when he was trying to pay them for sex. On Hinge he was saying he had 0 matches.

This is the reality for most men. A lot of the older generation would be very perplexed by the whole situation and say stuff like, "Just be yourself." "Don't try so hard." We can go in circles and assess everyone's game but the reality is most guys aren't getting anything to write home about. Here are a few things you need to realize.
1) The 8's and 9's in their 20's aren't settling 99% of the time.
2) What you attract as a man is often 2 notches or more lower than you on the looks scale.
3) Women in 2025 Have More attention than any other women in Human History.
4) Barely anyone is having even temporary success with a chick that is in the 8 threshold or higher.
5) The majority of women are for sale either directly or indirectly in 2025.
This along with many other things has caused most men to give up. Trust me I have been around a lot of good looking, tall athletic guys and for the most part the results are fleeting. Even if a guy locked down a high school sweetheart temporarily usually it was ultimately followed up later by a divorce and a custody battle.
I have talked about the Chad and Tyrone myth previously. For the most part even the best looking athletic guys on their way up that aren't already extremely famous, rich, or both aren't having the level of success you think they are. They are running into all kinds of headwinds too and I have seen good looking male model level guys end up spending $2,000 total on a chick across 4 or 5 dates just to have her not get on a plane to Chicago that they had purchased a ticket for her and were going to show her around the city. Like insane stuff.
A lot of guys are taking on a lot of baggage, have no power in the relationship, are paying out the ass, and were just her mark.
Women were told by the world they are in charge. Just like Bumble, which is ran by a woman who got the money from Tinder in a "harassment" lawsuit, most women will run themselves into the ground shit testing dudes who are clearly not going to be bossed around. They then play their chances into unnecessary overtime and actually raise their standards even more just to end up either not settling or picking a guy several levels below guys they caused too much friction with so they can boss him around and ultimately divorce him.
These are just the harsh realities of things here in the United States. You guys have seen some of the success overtime but people aren't really getting what they want. The women are confused and frustrated and the guys have given up. Financially things are going to get really bad and all this college debt these women are carrying is going to make these women look even more toxic to the guys they are actually attracted to.

I have become very perplexed at all the dudes licking their chops at me, hitting on me, and lusting after me even in these small towns in the Midwest. Just thirsty and starved telling me how they like my hat and telling me I look good.
Despite all that and fighting my way through I'm still having success with women in their 20's but oftentimes they will crash out.
American women are over priced and there is so much friction that guys aren't buying into the dating apps because of ZERO results, going out to bars because there is no point in just getting rejected, they couldn't get a date to take to the movies so those are going bankrupt, a lot of the semi attractive guys that could get a date realized a lot of women are trying to use guys for free food so they quit. Some guys are resorting to just trying to pay for it either directly or indirectly. The dating and relationship market has gotten ultra monetized and most dudes have ultimately given up completely.
I'm not perfect by any means but I'm still out there trying to build up even better. The unfortunate reality is even if you are really built up for your area the ultimate results are fleeting.
Realize this...... The 8's and 9's in their 20's believe they have unlimited time and unlimited options. Guys that have a better look and are more well positioned than are running into the same thing which further proves my point. When I was in Canada in 2023 I said, "It's about time I got respect on this continent!" Unfortunately in some respect this is damaging because I know I would be better off in Eastern Europe, Brazil, Argentina....etc to have a proper runway. That's harsh to think about. I have to go to an entire different continent to find what my grandpa found in a 20 mile radius. Let that Hoflation sink in and confirm the restaurants, bars, theaters, and Bumble are in financial trouble.
