Quick Combo Tips in Splinterlands

Hello everyone! I hope your Sunday is going great. Here in Brazil, it’s Father’s Day — I’m not sure how it works in the rest of the world, but it’s definitely a special Sunday here. 🎉

This past week, I played a lot of Splinterlands and discovered some interesting card combos for Ranked battles, as well as Modern and Frontier modes. Some of these combos worked really well for me, while others… well, let’s just say I took quite a beating. 😅 But even losses are valuable for learning new strategies.

💡 Combo for Beginners in Frontier

A great combo for matches that start with all monsters poisoned is:

Dread Tafarian (self-healing, helping to survive the poison)

Time Bandit (removes all debuffs from the front card, further increasing Tafarian’s survivability)

This combination can greatly extend the life of your main tank.

🔹 Extra tip If mana allows, add New Beluroc to your lineup. It redirects enemy attacks to itself, giving your Tafarian even more time to stay alive.

📌 Strategy against debuffs In matches with initial debuffs, battles are often decided by how long you can survive, not just by the damage you deal. Building a strategy to stay alive as long as possible can sometimes be more important than rushing to defeat your opponent.

📽 Below, I’ve included some videos showcasing this combo in action. If you’d like, I can share another interesting combo tomorrow.
