I came across a picture online not that long ago, that inspired me to recreate it my way - because it totally didn't turn out the same - but still... I gave the "just a shadow of myself" title to it. As the blurred portrait signifies the shadowy state, the presence of the sharp front flowers represents hope... 🤍 I started with a quick sketch just to get the most essencial parts, and used graphite powder to get similar blurry finish in the background. After that, I added little more details with graphite pencils and finished with erasing the most sharpest part in front - the flowers. This was a really interesting project, but as I felt so inspired by the photo, I just had to recreate it... Also I'm trying so hard to break out of 'perfectionism' here and there. What do you think?
