Old is gold. This time, I was seeing a horror movie, she joined me and she didn’t even bat an eye. I asked, “how are you watching this?” With a pillow over my face.  Mom looked at me and said, “this is the horror you guys watch these days? There is nothing but slashing. It’s all just blood and tears. Go back to the 80’s. You will see some really terrifying stories.”  Now, I didn’t take her advice all the way and rather went back to 2016. The very gruesome story of the Terrifier. I watched all three and for some reason, part one remains the top contender in my very warped mind right now.  https://img.leopedia.io/DQmfTCtf8hrxNA4CdgLgjuMwxFembmDm85uqCfgy89rSD6L/IMG_7013.jpeg **[Screenshot](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt10403420/mediaviewer/rm2776367361/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)** **The Terrifier** is an American slasher horror movie portraying the character, Art the Clown, who doesn’t hold back in his savagery towards humankind. From part 1 till 3, I could barely stomach the gruesome methods of his killing. From what I checked, The Terrifier is like a spin off from the original “All Hallows Eve”. I can’t watch that. I’m already traumatized.  Anyway, my mom was watching with me and went on to say all this guy was doing was “slashing” and dealing death in very obscene ways. In her words, there was only the slightest bit of suspense pertaining what would happen and there was really no scare.  “You see it all before you even get the chance to be scared.”  That wasn’t the same story for me. I did think the slashing was pretty cool, especially seeing how realistic they made it. However, mom said that doesn’t make up for the lack of storyline. You think she’s right?  Mom told me to go watch horrors from the 80’s. She went into details of how one of those movies shared on movie night at her boarding school was enough to send many students into shock and was banned. She was one of those students whose blood pressure went up all of a sudden sending her into unconsciousness. So, horror movies for movie night was banned at her school.  I couldn’t fathom it. Anyway, mom said the whole thing was nothing but a sham with plenty of blood and savagery.  https://img.leopedia.io/DQmaDN4Dnwm1qCph6mtQpjqeGEWCATXVtRBcSRmVEd5xTXD/IMG_7014.jpeg **[Screenshot](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt27911000/mediaviewer/rm1254786050/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)** I think I couldn’t understand somethings especially relating part two and three of the Terrifier to the first part. It went from slasher to demonic. Kind of a superhero thingy and well, I found it really cool. Especially the third part that was Christmas themed, which somehow made it appear more sinister than the first two. Not the sixty-baby (my mom) obviously, she thought it was a waste of money and time.  Have you seen The Terrifier? What do you think of it? Was my mom right or does she have too much expectations?  *** Delegate to @brofi for daily BRO pay outs or delegate to @legionsupport to get daily LGN payouts at 12% APR.
