If you were asked to explain the purpose of your life as you see it, what would your explanation be and why?

Yes, a few years ago, if I had been asked this question, I would have answered very differently than I do now. Because back then, I had so many different goals in mind, of which I have only achieved a few, because sometimes we think one thing and life directs us toward other things, teaching us other things as well... Taking all of these things into account, I can now say with the utmost certainty that the greatest purpose of my life has been to try to leave a positive mark on those who have known me, on my children, my husband, and my family in general.
But also for my friends and for the new people I meet. I think that trying to enjoy the simple and pleasant things in life is the beginning of happiness, and that also includes meeting, sharing, and treating people well. Perhaps for many this is not the great purpose of life, but for me it is, because I believe that we are what we give to others, even though sometimes it is not easy, sometimes it is even painful, because love must be involved, and love sometimes implies sacrifice, forgiveness, and sometimes disappointment...
Because, in all honesty, sometimes people don't make it difficult, whether they are our children, husband, friends, or acquaintances. It's easy to say, “I want to leave a legacy worth remembering,” but it's a whole process. Wanting to be a good person in this world is a difficult task. I don't mean to imply that I am a perfect person, but I try to do my best. Besides, I want people to say, “My mother was the best, she loved us,” or “My wife was unique,” when I am no longer in this world, and I want my friends to remember me with affection and a smile on their faces. Because people who love each other are never forgotten.
