Greetings, dear Hive community! It's been a while since I last posted celebrating this amazing Hive Power Up Day event. My teaching and research work kept me away from writing in this space, but that doesn't mean I've stopped being active online. In fact, my last formal post was in April, and since then, I haven't dedicated a post to details about my progress in Hive and my participation in this event. One of the achievements I don't remember if I shared with you is that I was awarded the Honey Bee medal for reaching 5,000 HP.

So far I have the full streak of understandings so far this year, if you are new to hive and do not know what #HPUD is, let me explain it to you, hive power up day is a community event where we block a certain amount of our hive tokens that we earn either in publications or in cryptographic games that run on this blockchain to increase our HP or Hive Power, which is not only a measure of the amount of tokens we have in stake, but a measure of our voting power, because as we increase our HP, the value of our vote on the publications we appreciate will be greater. It is ultimately a sign of our confidence in the project and our intention to grow and help others grow.

Since I reached 5K HP in April until September 1st, I've already generated almost 1K HP! I hope to reach 6000 HP this week. For now we are going to do the #HPUD for this September 1st, you can do it quickly from Keychain, but I decided to do it in PeakD so that it is more visual and easily understandable, you go to wallet and your balance will appear, you click on the hive tab where it says Stake (Power Up) to do your power-up of the month, remember that this event takes place on the 1st day of each month.

Once this is done, a window will open where you can enter the amount of hive you want to block. The minimum for the Hive Power Up Day is 10 hives; we'll block 11 to start the month of September.

Well, with this, we've already met this month's #HPUD. However, it's not our only goal with Hive. We have another, much more ambitious goal: I decided to hold the 12 Hive Power Up Month (#HPUM) on January 1st. What is that? It's about lighting up every day for a month. In this case, the minimum lighting is one hive. Since then, I've been lighting up every 24 hours religiously, so we've had 243 lightings so far this year.

It's been a fun process, a way to discipline yourself, plan ahead, and focus on a specific goal: growing Hive. Of course, it hasn't been easy; there have been difficulties over the past few days. I've relied on the HBD interest I generate, and you can always do the daily powerup with the money I generate from posts, but I prefer to do it with what I earn from crypto games and trading on the second layer.

I love studying the different projects that run on Hive's second layer. Many of them seek to strengthen the community spirit of the network, and that's wonderful! Here's one of the tokens I've been studying for a long time: BRO. This community project is inspired by a strategy of generating passive income, gradual but constant and firmly backed. While growing my HP account since 2024, I've been carefully studying this project, and it's definitely solid. So when I reached 5,000 HP, I decided to get serious about this project.

My participation in this project came in two forms: delegating 2,000 HP and purchasing a few Bro Tokens. I had purchased 1 token at the end of 2023 and decided to increase my stake to 10. In general, delegating HP to this project generates BROs at a very good price in HE, and having these tokens in your wallet generates hive. After almost a month, we already have 11.6 BROs! This is precisely my strategy to increase the tokens that generate hive by keeping them in my wallet.

This is the project I've paid the most attention to so far, and the one I want to continue gradually increasing my stake in. I may increase the amount of delegated HP later.

PoB is a token I've talked about before, it was one of the first second-layer tokens that promotes the creation of original content free from the use of AI, its tokenomics is quite interesting because like BTC the amount of the issued token is limited so I'm currently accumulating significant amounts of this token.

My plan for now is to have 20K PoB staked, so at the end of July I locked the liquid PoB I had from the healing I do and in the following weeks, I continued buying PoB, and I'm already approaching 15K.

This is another interesting community token that has caught my attention because it provides help and assistance to all Hive beginners and seeks to extend the benefits of Hive beyond the crypto space, becoming a way to help people in the real world and the real economy. It's a token I started accumulating a couple of months ago, but I'm accumulating at a more leisurely pace.

I started in mid-April by buying and locking 450 Archons. Currently, by using the #archon tag in posts, I've accumulated almost 32 liquid Archons and already have almost 464 Archons staked. For now, I don't have plans to delegate, but rather to buy tokens periodically.

Well, friends, my HP overview in my account looks like this: sustained growth over the last 7 days (left graph) and since the beginning of the year (right graph). It looks great! Our immediate goal is to not miss a single day in September and continue investing in the second-layer tokens I just updated you on, which, by the way, aren't the only ones. Tokens like Leo and BBH have a significant presence in my wallet, but I wanted to share the most recent projects I'm involved in with you.

Tenía tiempo que no hacía un post celebrando este genial evento del Hive Power Up Day, el trabajo en docencia e investigación me mantuvo alejado de escribir en este espacio pero eso no significa que haya dejado de estar activo en la red. De hecho mi ultimo post formal fue en abril y desde entonces no he dedicado un post al detalle sobre mi progreso en hive y la participación en este evento. Uno de los logros que no recuerdo si se los compartí es que me dieron la medalla de Honey Bee por alcanzar los 5000 de Hp.

Hasta el momento llevo la racha completa de encendidos en lo que va de año, si eres nuevo en hive y no conoces lo que es el #HPUD pues déjame explicártelo, el hive power up day es un evento de comunidad donde bloqueamos cierta cantidad de nuestros tokens hive que ganamos ya sea en publicaciones o en juegos criptográficos que corren en esta blockchain para aumentar nuestro HP o Hive Power que no solo es una medida de la cantidad de tokens que tenemos en stake, sino una medida de nuestro poder de voto, pues a medida que incrementemos nuestro HP el valor de nuestro voto en las publicaciones que apreciemos será mayor. Es en definitiva una muestra de nuestra confianza en el proyecto y nuestra intención de crecer y ayudar a crecer a otros.

Desde que alcancé los 5K de HP en abril hasta ahora 1ero de septiembre ya tengo generados casi 1K de HP! Espero poder llegar a los 6000 HP esta semana. Por ahora vamos hacer el #HPUD de este primero de septiembre, puedes hacerlo rápidamente desde Keychain, pero decidí hacerlo en PeakD para que sea más visual y fácilmente entendible, vas a wallet y te aparece tu balance, le das a la pestaña de hive donde dice Stake (Power Up) para hacer tu encendido del mes, recuerda que este evento se realiza el 1er día de cada mes.

Hecho esto, se abre una ventana donde puedes colocar la cantidad de hive que deseas bloquear, el mínimo para hacer el hive power up day es 10 hives, nosotros bloquearemos 11 para comenzar el mes de septiembre. Así tenemos 5912 HP y nos acercamos un poco más a la meta inmediata de los 6000 HP.

Bien, con esto ya cumplimos con el #HPUD de este mes, sin embargo no es nuestra única meta con hive, tenemos otra meta mucho más ambiciosa y se trata de que decidí el 1ero de enero, realizar los 12 Hive Power Up Month (#HPUM). Y esto que es? se trata de hacer en 1 mes encendidos todos los días, en este caso el mínimo para el encendido es 1 hive. Desde entonces he estado haciendo encendidos cada 24 horas de forma religiosa, por tanto llevamos 243 encendidos en lo que va de año.

Ha sido un proceso divertido, una manera de disciplinarte, planificarte y enfocarte a una meta específica: crecer en Hive. Por supuesto no ha sido sencillo, a lo largo de estos días hubo dificultades, me he apoyado en los intereses de HBD que genero y siempre puedes hacer el encendido diario con lo que genera las publicaciones, pero prefiero hacerlo con lo que genero en juegos crypto y haciendo trading en la segunda capa.

Me encanta estudiar los distintos proyectos que corren en la segunda capa de Hive, muchos de ellos buscar robustecer el espíritu comunitario de la red y eso es maravilloso! Aquí te presento uno de los tokens que estuve largamente estudiando: BRO, este proyecto comunitario se inspira en una estrategia de generar ingresos pasivos, graduales pero constantes y firmemente respaldados. Mientras hacía crecer mi cuenta en HP desde el 2024 estuve estudiando cuidadosamente este proyecto y es definitivamente sólido. Así que cuando alcancé mis 5000 HP decidí participar en serio con este proyecto.

Mi participación en este proyecto fue de 2 formas, delegando 2000 HP y comprando unos cuantos Tokens Bro, había comprado 1 simbólicamente a finales del 2023 y decidí llevar mi participación a 10. En general delegar HP en este proyecto te genera BROs que están a muy buen precio en HE y tener estos tokens en tu billetera genera hive. Después de casi 1 mes ya tenemos 11.6 BROs! Justamente esta es mi estrategia incrementar tokens que me generen hive por mantenerlos en mi billetera.

Este es hasta ahora el proyecto que más atención le he puesto y en el que quiero seguir incrementando mi participación gradualmente. Más adelante quizás incremente la cantidad de HP delegado.
