Ya Había comprado cornetas nuevas, cascos con micrófono y lo más reciente fue un mouse Forge MSi, mi segundo mouse en 1 año! Por alguna razón no me duran mucho los mouses, pero todavía faltaba un elemento para actualizar mi setup y eso era un teclado nuevo, pues con mi sobrino nos propusimos salir a ver en el centro de la ciudad de Caracas por un buen teclado y es el que hoy vengo a reseñarles, el teclado mecánico ATOM 87S. > Hello, dear [Geek Zone](https://ecency.com/created/hive-106817) community, I welcome you to a review that represents the final part of putting together a halfway decent setup for my PC. I had already bought new speakers, headphones with microphones, and the most recent was an MSi Forge mouse, my second mouse in a year! For some reason, mice don't last very long, but there was still one element missing to update my setup: a new keyboard. My nephew and I decided to go out and look for a good keyboard in downtown Caracas, and that's the one I'm here to review today: the ATOM 87S mechanical keyboard.

Desde hace ya un buen tiempo estaba muy interesado en un teclado mecánico, los había visto cuando compré mi último mouse y me parecieron sólidos y muy robustos pero su costo para el momento ya excedía mi presupuesto. Las cosas se complicaron a mediados de este año cuando mi teclado antiguo no parecía ser reconocido por el Pc y pues me parece normal porque este teclado lo tengo desde hace 10 años ya y creo que simplemente me esta pidiendo que lo jubile, así es amigos literalmente el meme: "Estoy cansado Jefe". > I've been very interested in a mechanical keyboard for quite some time now. I'd seen them when I bought my last mouse, and they seemed solid and very robust, but their cost at the time was already beyond my budget. Things got complicated mid-year when my old keyboard didn't seem to be recognized by the PC, and well, that seems normal because I've had this keyboard for 10 years now, and I think it's simply asking me to retire it. That's right, friends, literally the meme: "I'm tired, Boss."

Y fue así como este fin de semana fuimos en la búsqueda de un nuevo teclado, mi sobrino estaba emocionado porque lo único que pensaba era en conseguir un modelo de teclado con RGB! Esta obsesionado con el RGB pero luego de visitar varias tiendas, ver suficientes modelos y comparar precios, finalmente conseguimos el teclado que se ajustaba a lo que estábamos buscando: ATOM 87S/Mori Edition. > And so, this weekend we went in search of a new keyboard. My nephew was excited because all he could think about was getting a keyboard model with RGB! He's obsessed with RGB, but after visiting several stores, looking at enough models, and comparing prices, we finally found the keyboard that fit what we were looking for: the ATOM 87S/Mori Edition.

Una vez en nuestras manos, nos preparamos para el unboxing del teclado y lo primero que nos trae son un par de repuestos para las teclas y un cable USB 3.0 Tipo C, por último nos trae la garantía y una guía rápida de como instalar y usar el teclado, lo leí con cuidado para comprender mejor los controladores de las luces LED que trae y ver las distintas configuraciones que trae. > Once in our hands, we prepare for the unboxing of the keyboard and the first thing it brings us are a pair of spare keys and a USB 3.0 Type C cable, finally it brings us the warranty and a quick guide on how to install and use the keyboard, I read it carefully to better understand the drivers for the LED lights it has and see the different configurations it has.

Después de leer la guía rápida desenfundamos el teclado y un0 de los elementos más destacados es lo compacto que es, esto es básicamente porque el conjunto de teclas numerales que normalmente se encuentra en el extremo derecho simplemente no están y justo era lo que estaba buscando ya que este teclado quiero usarlo en buena parte es para el gaming pero también cuando tengo que escribir post y el extenso tamaño del teclado anterior ya casi no entraba en el escritorio, así que este modelo me viene como un guante! > After reading the quick guide, we unboxed the keyboard, and one of the most notable features was how compact it is. This is mainly because the set of number keys normally found on the far right simply aren't there, and that was exactly what I was looking for since I want to use this keyboard mostly for gaming, but also when I have to write posts, and the large size of the previous keyboard barely fit on the desk, so this model fits me like a glove!

En la parte posterior tiene los soportes para levantar el teclado, de verdad que aprecié mucho que tuviera un recubrimiento de goma anti resbalante, porque me gusta jugar los FPS con cierta inclinación del teclado y odio cuando se me resbala el teclado porque no estaba bien sujeto a la superficie. En la parte superior izquierda tiene el conector para el cable USB que tiene una extensión de 1.5 metros que se me hizo algo corto pero para una Pc de escritorio esta bastante bien, fue entonces cuando decidimos conectar el teclado al Pc, probarlo y ver el tema de la iluminación. > On the back, it has the supports to raise the keyboard. I really appreciated the non-slip rubber coating because I like to play FPS games with the keyboard tilted slightly, and I hate it when the keyboard slips because it's not properly secured to the surface. On the top left, there's the connector for the USB cable, which has a 1.5-meter extension, which seemed a bit short to me, but for a desktop PC, it's fine. That's when we decided to connect the keyboard to the PC, test it, and check the lighting.

Una vez conectado el reconocimiento y configuración con el PC solo tardo 1 minuto y la iluminación fue inmediata, no lo negaré se ve muy bonito a primera vista, pero lo mejor fue cuando le das a la tecla del bombillo ubicado justo al lado de las teclas Fn y Ctrl cuando la activas, las luces forman distintos patrones que puedes variar a medida que presionas la tecla. Después de evaluar los distintos patrones mi sobrino y yo decidimos escoger el patrón que te muestro a continuación. > Once connected, recognition and configuration with the PC only took a minute, and the lighting was immediate. I won't deny it looks very nice at first glance, but the best part was when you press the light button located right next to the Fn and Ctrl keys when you activate it. The lights form different patterns that you can change as you press the key. After evaluating the different patterns, my nephew and I decided to choose the one shown below.
