If we are to be honest with ourselves, we have had so many moments where life doesn't go the way we planned. Maybe something small, or a friend later on cancelled the plans, or we missed out on something big. And then these moments make us feel frustrated or even helpless and discouraged.
But the important truth that most people don't like to hear is that when we are emotionally reactive and mentally unstable, it often has more to do with how much time we stay to overthink and make the problem so much bigger. When we are busy chasing those goals, trying to learn those things, or trying to build something meaningful, you don't have time to throw so much energy.
Smart people, those smart people, the ones you admire, they are always free from frustration, but they have learned how to control it. They focus more on the energy of serving people instead of trying to complain about what they could not change and what has already been done. So they understand that the world we live in doesn't revolve around them. So no one is going to come and fix things for you. You have to stand up and fix things for yourself.
This is my sign, Hashiba. This is how reality works. When you just realize that no one owes you a dime in this world, then you stop pitying for people to sympathize. So life then becomes simpler. Then at this moment, you begin to understand the problem inside of yourself. And when you begin to do that, that is the time you begin to gain control.
The truth is you need emotional maturity. And also that emotional maturity must come with support. You need so much discipline that you will not have time to be crying over things that have already been done. You focus more on solving problems.
Calmness is not just to not show that you are weak. It is a superpower. It means that you are currently in charge of yourself. It means that you have decided to be at peace, more valuable. And you are more focused on proving your point and getting everything done.
The next time you see yourself in that moment where you are overthinking of small things that happened to you, just ask yourself, is this really what my energy or my thinking? Just focus your energy on something that is very important. Your goal is your goal to your peace.
This might not be perfect, but you just have to stick and understand the problems and try to fix them. Because in the end, the only way to go and improve is to just keep getting better day by day. That is life for you.
