DAR 'GOTTEM' GEARNUT: Splinterlands Hottest New Legendary Voucher Card

**Hello Splinter nerds**  *Splinterlands is always coming out with new monsters that are appealing to the eye, and also very good to use in battle, so not having them may become a problem in certain rulesets.* *Kelan Gaines' exclusive epic voucher card purchase has come to an end, and we are now in the era of Dar `Gottem` Gearnut, a legendary dual-element monster. It belongs to the dragon and the life splinter.* *One thing I first noticed about this card is that it is undoubtedly the monster with the highest health on Splinterlands at the moment, with a whopping base health of 25, which makes it suitable as a tank in battles.* *Just this stat alone makes it worthy of having in one's collection, but it didn't stop there; they gave it 4 abilities, which further make it stronger.*  **Trample**: *This is his first ability, and he gained it at level 1. After defeating a monster with its melee attack, it can perform another melee attack on the next monster. This could be very useful in a low league battle.* **Flank**: *He gains this ability at level 2. If he is in the first position, it allows him to give the monster next to him a reach ability* [if the monster is a melee attack] **Inspire**: *This is gained at level 3, and it gives +1 melee power to all allied units.* **Void**: *This is the fourth and last ability, it reduces the magic attack on him by 50% and to zero if the opponent's magic power is 1.* *Being a legendary card, this monster is not cheap; it costs 1050 vouchers for 1 regular foil bcx! and sells for 21 dollars in the market, so nothing less than 231 dollars for a max copy at the moment, Fortunately I got a max copy on emp-warden using vouchers and could not wait to find a suitable ruleset to test it and it didn't take long to find one* *It was a 3-rules combo.*  **Deflection Field**: *All the monsters have a deflect ability, which makes them have zero damage from blast and other punish abilities, like magic reflect and thorns.* **Target Practice**: *All the units with magic and range attack have snipe, they attack the first non-melee monster after the first monster on the opponent team.* **High Five**: *Only 5 monsters can be used*  [battle link](https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_3c53854725a7b4b98e7b02cd8e5c870c) *The opponent and I used the same summoner and also similar monsters except 1.* **My Formation** *My first 2 monsters were **Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut and Leolin sifu**, and I was not surprised the opponent also used the same thing, this is because the ``Deflection shield`` helps to solve Sifu weakness which is thorn... our tactics was given Sifu the armor strike to make its attack more brutal while Dar Gottem with the flank ability protect it by being in the first position.* *The **Anachron Bolter** is my third monster, and the only difference between my team selection and the opponent's.
