I find it easy to ghost anyone at the slightest provocation. My mind is already full, and I have no room for unnecessary drama. I simply return the energy I am given.* *The human heart can be wicked; they smile with you to your face, yet laugh at you behind your back. You will think the love is real until trouble comes, and the same friends you trusted are either mocking you or fueling the fire against you.* *It is in your time of need that you discover who your true friends are, and who was only there for the good times. I have met many people in life. Some left me beautiful memories, while others came as big lessons.* *I am not someone who keeps malice or seeks revenge. My best form of self-defense is ghosting and cutting ties completely... Once I realize your presence in my life is giving me a headache or putting me at risk, I activate the ghost mode.* *I am an overthinker, so I tend to analyze and think things through before making a decision, and most time I make a decision when I no longer feel comfortable with having someone around...* *A few years ago, 2022 to be precise. I registered for the WAEC exam in a private school that my nephew attends... During the exam period, I bonded with some of his classmates, and I grew fond of one because of his enthusiasm that I even let him visit me.* *My plan was to introduce him to the Hive platform so he could be free from the unemployment tag. Life after secondary school is hard for people without a rich background. It sounds strange to me, cos when do people start begging for money to entertain visitors, but being the first time, I gave her the money* *A few days later, she called again and told me she is a film director. She would love it if I could be a sponsor for her new film. I was already feeling annoyed with all the ridiculous requests, but I didn't say much. I promised to give her something the following week. She didn't forget to call me the day I promised. I sent her 4k, and she was like Is that all, I said yes, she didn't appreciate it, I guess she was expecting 100k or millions from me.* *Her reaction that day was all I needed to cancel her and her child... I stop picking up her calls and replying to her messages...
