*I watched a video on TikTok earlier this year, which displays Wizkid, one of the biggest artists in Nigeria going up a stage and a guy shouting and calling his name, trying to remind him of who he is, he called his own name and also mentioned the school they attended together but Wizkid didn't act like the name means anything to him.*  [source](https://pixabay.com/photos/mountain-mountian-climbing-sunrise-7704817/) *Then people started bashing Wizkid online for failing to acknowledge his coursemate, but in my own opinion, I believe he has a reason for the way he acted.* *In most cases, some people abuse the word ``friendship``, cos we are neighbors, coursemates, play football together on the street, attend the same church, colleagues at work do not automatically make us friends. It is possible to become friends with some of the people you meet in these ways.* *I am currently in school, and even though I talk to many people in the department, I only count two as my friends, because we share something beyond just talk; we care and watch each other's backs, so this could be the same case with Wizkid and the guy who claims to know him. Probably they shared a few times together talking like guys do.* *I also do not blame people who distance themselves from their old friends when they start making money.
