I'm wondering if anyone can relate to this situation. You try hard and forget the person you were for a new found friendship to workout, they seem to appreciate it for a while, then they all of a sudden seem too good to hang out with you: when the situation would have been vice versa had you not humbled yourself and come down to their level in the first place......here's the quote I used to note the feeling;
It hurts when you let down your standards for someone,
and they pick up theirs against you.
