Sometimes when we talk about something , but other people don’t agree with us or does not believe, they may say " don't talk nonsense", but do you know how this word comes from? What is nonsense “ eight way” in the end?
I searched internet , it means like this :
The original hu man went to the mainland to explain the Buddhist sutra. Hu, the ancient Chinese name for minorities in the West and North. Nonsense: that's what Hu said. Eight way : Hu people explain Buddhist scriptures are absurd words to say. Hu people explain Buddhist eight words as "nonsense". So later , when we want to express not believe other people or don’t agree with them , we can say “don’t talk the nonsense, it means “all claims that have no basis.”
It is interesting, the original nonsense refers to "Hu people are talking the Buddhist eight word Sutra", then finally evolved into “ no basis or can't believe it.”
Three long and two short .

If people say “ three long two short , that means you have trouble and you died or something bad happed to you.”
It related deaths in the coffin. The coffin is made together with six pieces of wood. The lid of the coffin, the coffin bottom, left and right are the four long wood . but two pieces on the both ends are short . Why don't you call four long and two short? Because the coffin lid was only put into the coffin after the corpse was put into the coffin, so it only called three long. " In this way , it means unexpected misfortune .
So you see , Chinese language is rich and colorful. If you want to learn and understand it, it's really not easy.
有的时候我们说着话， 对方如果不赞同，不相信， 可能会说“你别胡说八道了”， 可你知道这个词语是怎么来的？ 到底什么是胡说八道？
原来我搜狗了一下， 是这样的： 原指胡人到内地讲解佛经。 胡，中国古代对西、北部少数民族的称呼。胡说∶就是胡人说讲。八道：不信佛的人认为，胡人讲解佛经是说荒诞之言。胡人讲解佛经八圣道简作“胡说八道”。 故后世以胡说、胡说八道，一派胡言等词语比喻不可信。今泛指一切没有根据的说法。
有意思吧， 原来胡说八道 就是指“胡人讲解佛经八圣道”，最后演变成不可相信的话。
而“三长两短呢”？
原来“三长两短”和以前的人死亡入棺木有关。棺木是用六片木材拼凑的。棺盖、棺底、左梆、右梆这四片是长木材；前头、后尾这两片是方形的短木材。
为什么不叫四长两短？因为尸体入棺木后才上棺盖，所以只称三长。“三长两短”作为死的别称流传的范围越来越宽广，便由俗语转为成语了。多指意外灾祸，民间多作“遇难”、“死亡”。 因此如果要说 “如果你有个三长两短，也就是说你有个意外，灾祸等”这些忌语。
看来中国的语言丰富多彩，要想学懂， 学透还真是不容易呢！
