IMG-20180219-WA0013.jpg Hey guys!

I know I have been posting nothing lately and not even visited steemit a lot, it's a shame I know!!

The truth is.. I had so many things on my mind with my studies, finding an internship, passing some subjects, my horse and traveling between the west and east side of the Netherlands that I took a short break! However, I missed all of your stories and beautiful pictures way too much and I'm trying to read back as lot as I can!

As my boyfriend lives in Bourtange, and owns a drone( DJI Mavic Pro) we have been filming overthere and I really wanted to share this picture with you!

First of all, Bourtange is a star fort in Groningen, the Netherlands. It was built in 1593 under William the Silent. The purpose of Bourtange was to control the one road between Germany the Netherlands which was controlled by the Spaniards during the the Eighty Years' War.

It is famous for its star shaped canals which can be of course best seen from.... above!!

If you would like to check out the 3D pictures please take a look at this links, they are created with the app and I don't think it's possible to post otherwise as a picture.
