A pocos días de celebrarse la boda de una prima, yo me encontraba sin vestimenta adecuada, tenía algo que tomar en cuenta y es que la vestimenta era playera ya que se celebraría en el atardecer y lo único que tenía a mi disposición era una tela de 1m amarilla y una tía que sabe cocer pero no cortar 🤣 por lo que me tocó cortar un conjunto para la ocasión aunque honestamente pensé muchísimo qué hacer con lo que tenía limitado por lo que luego de muchas ideas y tutoriales opté por un top con un pedacito de tela de aproximadamente 20cm de alto y 1,80 de alto que traía la tela, este era una especie de top cruzado con solo dos costuras con las cuales me ayudó mi tía en su máquina.

A few days before celebrating the wedding of a cousin, I found myself without adequate clothing, I had something to take into account and that is that the dress was a beach dress since it would be celebrated at sunset and the only thing I had at my disposal was a 1m yellow fabric and an aunt who knows how to bake but not cut 🤣 so I had to cut an outfit for the occasion but honestly I thought a lot what to do with what I had limited so after many ideas and tutorials I opted for a top with a piece of fabric about 20cm high and 1, This was a kind of crossed top with only two seams which my aunt helped me with on her machine.
Para la falda tuve que utilizar el restante de la tela de manera doble ya que era un poco transparente, no le coloqué pretina y de hecho me la coloqué sin costura en la zona de la cintura (cosa que no se nota al doblarse) igual en la apertura de la pierna y el ruedo (está cocido a mano) solo necesité cerrar la falda, cabe aclarar que las orillas las doblé para que no se viera el corte y aunque habían muchas cosas por perfeccionar todo esto fué echo horas antes del evento yo visualicé el diseño y corté lo necesario con ayuda de mi tía y su máquina estoy segura que hubiéramos logrado mejor acabado con mayor tiempo. Aun así estoy satisfecha con lo que pude resolver.
For the skirt I had to use the rest of the fabric in a double way since it was a little transparent, I didn't put a waistband and in fact I put it on without a seam in the waist area (which is not noticeable when folded) the same in the opening of the leg and the hem (it is hand sewn) I only needed to close the skirt, It should be noted that I folded the edges so that the cut was not visible and although there were many things to perfect all this was done hours before the event I visualized the design and cut the necessary with the help of my aunt and her machine I'm sure we would have achieved a better finish with more time. Even so I am satisfied with what I was able to solve.
Y bueno la verdad es que me sentí bastante cómoda, de eso se trata, él color definitivamente me encanta, algo llamativo y que hace resaltar mi piel morena, lo mejor de todo es que solo ha sido con una tela que tenía guardada y con la que pude resolver 💛
And well the truth is that I felt quite comfortable, that's what it's all about, I definitely love the color, something striking and that highlights my brown skin, best of all is that it has only been with a fabric that I had saved and that I could solve 💛
