Hello friends and members of the Draw A Day community We are back with the next prompt in our worldbuilding challenge where we continue shaping the curious world of the Forest Folks. This is an open invitation to artists of all levels—digital, traditional, beginner or seasoned to bring your creativity into this woodland realm.
Theme: Writing, Maps & Symbols How do the Forest Folk communicate, navigate, and record their world? Do they carve characters into tree barks, leave glowing moss symbols along paths, or weave patterns into cloth? Do they draw maps on leaves, knot vines to mark safe trails, or invent pictographs only their kind understand.
For this prompt, imagine and illustrate the Forest Folk’s systems of writing, mapping, or symbolic expression. Your piece could focus on an ancient scroll, a traveler's map, an alphabet of hidden signs, or a ritual emblem passed down through generations.
How to Join: Create an original drawing or painting inspired by this prompt. Both digital and traditional art are welcome, and all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
