No pain, no gain

Challenges have always been my favorite because they test our creativity. It’s not just about shooting for the sake of shooting: it’s about exploring, finding references, experimenting, making mistakes, and trying again. Resilience is key: if you fail, you don’t give up you keep going until you achieve what you’re looking for.

I always strive to be original and give my work the dramatic touch that defines me. That’s why I chose this mix of fire and human skin. The meaning I want to convey is that, despite the pain, we keep fighting and pushing forward what we’re passionate about. Pain becomes secondary; everything is in the mind.

Always grateful for this @qurator challenge that gives us photographers tests to evolve in our learning, and good luck to all the participants.

Sin dolor no hay recompensa

Los challenges siempre han sido mis favoritos porque nos ponen a prueba en creatividad. No es solo disparar por disparar: es indagar, buscar referencias, probar, equivocarse y volver a intentar. La resiliencia es clave: si fallas, no te echas para atrás, sigues hasta lograr lo que buscas.

Siempre busco ser original y darle el dramatismo que me caracteriza. Por eso escogí esta mezcla de fuego y piel humana. El significado que quiero transmitir es que, pese al dolor, seguimos luchando y sacando adelante lo que nos apasiona. El dolor pasa a un segundo plano; todo está en la mente.

Siempre agradecido por este challenge de @qurator que nos da a los fotógrafos pruebas para evolucionar en nuestro aprendizaje, y buena suerte a todos los participantes.
