Faces of the City / Rostros de la Ciudad

I have always been a fan of black and white photography; most of my work carries that style.
But today, I decided to bring color into my images.

In this series, I want to show some of the faces I encounter in my neighborhood: workers, elders, people searching for something to eat… Each face, each gesture, each action carries a story to tell — a daily struggle, a reason to keep moving forward.

More than simple portraits, I want my photos to transmit humanity and invite you to step into the life of these people.
I enjoy giving my edits a dramatic touch, as I believe it helps convey what I want to express more clearly.

I hope you enjoy this series as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Siempre he sido un fanático del blanco y negro, casi todas mis fotos tienen ese estilo.
Pero hoy decidí darle color a mis imágenes.

En esta serie quiero mostrar algunas de las caras que me encuentro por mi barrio: trabajadores, abuelos, personas que buscan algo para comer… Cada rostro, cada gesto, cada acción, lleva consigo una historia que contar, una lucha diaria, un motivo para seguir adelante.

Más que simples retratos, busco que mis fotos transmitan humanidad y que podamos adentrarnos en la vida de esas personas.
Me gusta que mis ediciones tengan dramatismo, porque creo que eso ayuda a interpretar mejor lo que quiero expresar.

Espero que disfruten esta serie tanto como yo disfruté haciéndola.
