Humans in a Can / Humanos enlatados [Eng-Esp]

Hello dear Black and White community,

Now I have to head home during rush hour, the worst part of the day. There’s only one route and the car was packed; we looked like humans in a can. I managed to squeeze through the crowd and find a good spot.

Luckily, someone got off and I could sit for a stretch of the trip. I took out my camera and captured some curious looks, but also interesting moments. The girl I photographed tried to hide until she gave up and I managed to get her shot. This is our daily reality: public transport can’t handle all the people in Lima, but I’m sure many cities face the same situation.

I try to make the most of it, capturing moments from tiring and overwhelming trips. But you always know that once you get home, you can eat and rest after a tough day.

Today I’m a bit tired, but I give myself the energy to share a bit about my journey home. Now I’m home, fed, and ready to disconnect and rest properly. I hope this photo series shows a bit of what I’ve shared. Good vibes and see you tomorrow!

Hola querida comunidad en Blanco y Negro

Ahora me toca volver a casa en hora punta, la peor parte del día. Solo hay una ruta y el auto estaba repleto; parecíamos humanos enlatados. Igual me doy maña para meterme entre las personas y ubicarme en un buen sitio.

Por suerte, alguien se bajó y pude sentarme un tramo del viaje. Saqué mi cámara y capturé algunas miradas extrañas, pero también momentos interesantes. La chica que retraté se escondía hasta que se rindió y logré tomarle la foto. Así viajamos diariamente: el transporte público no da abasto para toda la población en Lima, pero creo que en muchas ciudades pasa lo mismo.

Yo busco sacar algún provecho a esto, capturando momentos de viajes cansados y agobiantes. Pero siempre sabes que al llegar a casa podrás cenar y descansar después de una jornada dura.

Hoy estoy algo agotado, pero me doy la energía de contarles un poco sobre mi regreso a casa. Ahora ya estoy en casa, bien comido y listo para desconectarme y descansar como se debe. Espero que esta serie de fotos describa un poco lo que les cuento. Buenas vibras y hasta mañana.
