This is my entry for the Qurator’s Photo Quest | Lines 〰️

When I saw the lines challenge, I immediately remembered a passageway of the Judicial Branch. It came to mind how, from its window, the architecture created a sense of depth with all the railings, walls, and columns. It seemed to me that they aligned as if they were a visual puzzle, perfect for the theme.

That's why I decided to use black and white. I wanted color not to be a distraction and for us to focus only on the interplay of light and shadows. I hope this photo makes you feel the same connection I feel with architectural photography.

Always grateful for this @qurator challenge that gives us photographers tests to evolve in our learning, and good luck to all the participants.

Hola amigos de Qurator,

Cuando vi el desafío de las líneas, de una me acordé de un pasadizo del Poder Judicial. Se me vino a la mente cómo, desde su ventana, la arquitectura creaba una profundidad con todas las rejas, muros y columnas. Me pareció que se alineaban como si fueran un rompecabezas visual, perfecto para el tema.

Por eso decidí usar el blanco y negro. Quería que el color no distrajera y que solo nos fijáramos en el juego de luces y sombras. Espero que esta foto los haga sentir la misma conexión que yo siento con la fotografía de arquitectura.

Siempre agradecido con este challenge de @qurator que nos pone a los fotógrafos pruebas para evolucionar en nuestro aprendizaje y suerte a todos los participantes.
