Every day, all I think about is healthy snacks for my son, because my son gets hungry easily. He'll keep saying, "Umma, what's he eating?" even though he's barely swallowed the snack, haha.
So, every day, I think about what snacks he'll eat, and I make sure they're healthy and safe for his body.
This time, I'm making "Hollow Pumpkin Balls."
I'm going to transform this small piece of pumpkin into a healthy snack that my son will eat.
-----------
Ingredients needed
- 100 grams pumpkin
- 3 tablespoons tapioca flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet vanilla powder
- Sesame seeds
--------------
How to make
- Peel the pumpkin to separate the skin and pulp.
- Then, cut it into smaller pieces to make it easier to steam.
- Prepare a steamer and steam the pumpkin for 10 minutes or until the pumpkin is cooked evenly.
- Once the pumpkin is cooked, let it cool slightly and then transfer it to a large bowl.
-
Mash the steamed pumpkin using a food processor or spoon.
-
Once mashed, add the sugar and vanilla. Stir until the sugar and vanilla are evenly distributed.
