Hace unos meses hice una publicación sobre un parque nacional que visité con algunos familiares y amigos. Recuerdo que mientras seleccionaba las fotos una prima me preguntó: ¿Que estás haciendo? Y pues obviamente le dije que estaba haciendo un trabajo para publicarlo en Hive. Extrañamente ella no me preguntó absolutamente nada sobre lo que es Hive, pero si me dijo que estaba interesada por visitar ese lugar del cual yo hablaría en mi publicación. Fue así como más adelante le pude hablar de lo que hago en esta plataforma, aunque con su respuesta inicial me hizo pensar en lo que puede llegar a ser Hive para mí, algo más que simplemente escribir y crear contenido. >A few months ago I made a post about a national park I visited with some family and friends. I remember that while I was selecting the photos a cousin asked me: "What are you doing? And obviously I told her that I was doing some work to publish it on Hive. Strangely she didn't ask me anything about what Hive is, but she did tell me that she was interested in visiting the place I was going to talk about in my publication. That's how I was later able to talk to her about what I do on this platform, although her initial response made me think about what Hive can be for me, something more than just writing and creating content. La experiencia con mi prima me llevó a pensar en como Hive podría convertirse en un medio para hacer publicidad a lugares, negocios y proyectos de los cuales las personas si están bien interesadas. En mi caso, sé que en Venezuela hay muchos lugares turísticos de los que se han creado muchísimas publicaciones, pero ¿Se podría ir más allá? Y en el plano de los negocios, ¿Podrían ver ellos a Hive como un trampolín para dar a conocer sus proyectos? Creo que así ya podríamos ver a nuestra plataforma como algo bueno para invertir y trabajar en conjunto con las muchas ideas que pueden surgir al respecto. Hay plataformas en las que cada escritor ofrece sus servicios específicamente para un área o tipo de trabajos, con ofertas llamativas para atraer a los clientes. Creo que aquí en Hive también hay potencial para hacer algo similar, y no solo se trata de lo que hacemos sino de como podemos atraer a otros pero no con la intención de escribir sino de invertir. No es que ahora estoy diciendo que Hive deba ser como una especie de agencia de publicidad, pero si tomar ciertas ideas para que el enfoque de nuestro trabajo se torne más llamativo para quienes no conocen la plataforma. >For many people Hive is synonymous with writing and reading, but the reality is that not everyone is passionate about it. The experience with my cousin led me to think about how Hive could become a way to advertise places, businesses and projects that people are interested in. In my case, I know that in Venezuela there are many touristic places that have created a lot of publications, but could we go further? And on the business level, could they see Hive as a springboard to publicize their projects? I think we could see our platform as something good to invest and work together with the many ideas that may arise in this regard. >There are platforms where each writer offers their services specifically for an area or type of work, with eye-catching offers to attract clients. I think here at Hive there is also potential to do something similar, and it's not just about what we do but how we can attract others but not with the intent to write but to invest. Not that now I am saying that Hive should be like some kind of advertising agency, but to take certain ideas so that the focus of our work becomes more appealing to those who do not know the platform. No sé qué tan lejos podríamos estar de esto, o si ya hay proyectos dentro de la plataforma que apuntan hacia este norte, pero confío en que este aporte de ideas puede despertar en varios Hivers la intención y la motivación que conlleve a ese trabajo en el que hacemos crecer a nuestra plataforma mientras nosotros también crecemos como creadores de contenido. En la unidad de criterios también redunda un buen crecimiento, y por esos es vital el poder tener un horizonte claro para poder trabajar en pro de esto. Yo no tengo tanto tiempo en esta plataforma, pero si lo suficiente para confirmar que dentro de Hive hay muchas cosas que aún no hemos sabido explorar ni aprovechar. Aún así, la intención de exponer estos temas sobre la mesa puede ser para muchos el principio de un grandioso proyecto que nos permita ser partícipes de algo maravilloso para quienes ya estamos aquí y para los que deseen integrarse a esta plataforma. Mi visión dentro de Hive no ha cambiado, y por eso sostengo que aún hay cosas más grandes que se pueden lograr y llevar a cabo en este que para muchos se ha convertido en nuestro hogar. >Can you imagine someone saying: "I met this place thanks to Hive"? Or maybe you hear someone mention that thanks to this platform their business has prospered and is now better known? I don't know how far we could be from this, or if there are already projects within the platform that point towards this north, but I am confident that this contribution of ideas can awaken in several Hivers the intention and motivation that leads to that work in which we make our platform grow while we also grow as content creators. >In the unity of criteria also results in a good growth, and therefore it is vital to have a clear horizon to work towards this. I do not have so much time on this platform, but I have enough time to confirm that within Hive there are many things that we have not yet been able to explore and take advantage of. Even so, the intention to expose these issues on the table may be for many the beginning of a great project that allows us to be part of something wonderful for those of us who are already here and for those who wish to join this platform. My vision within Hive has not changed, and that is why I maintain that there are still greater things that can be achieved and carried out in what for many has become our home.
