There is no doubt that most of us have that person who, just by existing, inspires us and fills us with happiness. In many cases, these heroes without capes become our parents, while others find someone else worthy of such recognition. How can I know who these people are who fill me with inspiration and admiration? Well, in my case, I am fortunate to feel that way twice over.  And they are my siblings. Ingrid and Hernán. I am the oldest in terms of age, but I am deeply convinced that they have been a beautiful gift of incalculable value. Each one has their own style and personality that makes them very special to me, as if I saw in them everything I couldn't do. Their perseverance, humility, and empathy have taught me more than I could have learned from anyone else in my lifetime, and if there is one thing they have in common, it is that they have always known how to keep going and never give up until they reach their goal.  They are both doctors, and that alone makes them great role models for me. Every time I talk to them, I can easily sense that loving spirit that encourages and strengthens me when I'm not feeling my best. I also admire the way they have cultivated such a deep love for my mother, and how they are always ready to share a special moment or a thoughtful gesture with her. They both have a somewhat strong character, which they surely inherited from their father, but what most identifies them both is their respect and kindness in dealing with people.  Every time someone asks me about my brothers, a big smile automatically spreads across my face, because I feel like that younger brother who talks about his brothers with the greatest emotion imaginable. Even to those I trust the most, I talk about what they do and continue to do to pursue a profession that demands a lot of time and sacrifice. Every time they tell me about their goals and achievements, I obviously feel very happy, and I share that same joy with my friends and the rest of the family. In the saddest moments of my life, they have always been there, and with their words they have always known how to give me strength when I needed it most. They have managed to cultivate in me the motivation that I so often lack, and they have even been the ones who have always told me not to stop writing or trying to publish that book I wrote a long time ago.
