My first espresso ☕

Double scoop! My first participation in this community and what better way than to do it through my experience making my first espresso. My taste for coffee is very special, and I have always been amazed by the flavor that the espresso machine gives it. I never imagined that I would have the opportunity to prepare one, but the truth is that the circumstances were right and I finally made it. It all started with an invitation from a friend with whom I work on Wednesdays. Just at noon I saw him, and as I know that he also likes coffee very much, I told him to prepare one for us in the coffee shop at the time of departure. This place is not very old, and it was from him that I found out that there is an espresso machine there. As he has already used it, I told him to explain it to me, and so I myself became the architect of a good cup of coffee. In just one minute the coffee was ready, so they call it "espresso" for a reason. It was quite strong, but I mostly drink it that way, and the color looked pretty good too. Once the coffee was ready, we bought some little cakes to snack on while we talked. This is the first time we make the arrangement to share in the afternoon, since in most cases it is in the morning when we meet in the dining room and drink coffee while having breakfast. My friend is a true coffee lover, not that I am not, but in his case he told me that lately he has been drinking coffee constantly during the day. "Stressed or worried about something?" was what I immediately asked him, and although it's nothing serious he told me that the stress of work sometimes takes him to a rhythm that he doesn't know how to handle it. He even acknowledged that on some nights he couldn't sleep, and obviously drinking coffee so late at night well that also robs him of sleep. Today I feel that I have unlocked a new achievement, something that I have been thinking about for a long time and now I am even commenting on it through this publication. As a joke, I told my friend that with a machine like this we could work selling espresso coffee, although he immediately responded that it was a dangerous business because we could drink all the merchandise. So we spent some time chatting about other things, and then we went to the game room to practice a little with the billiards. I am sure that this will not be the last espresso I will be able to prepare, much less the one I will be able to share with my friend Anderson. We really have a lot of things in common, but coffee is already enough to unite us in a beautiful friendship like true brothers. I think my friend was the best person to be present at my first espresso, although for the next one he will be the one to prepare it in his special way with a touch of vanilla and cinnamon. How will it be?
