"Un tesoro invaluable"// "A priceless treasure"

Un mundo sin amigos es como tener un libro en blanco, pero dar cabida a los amigos en tu vida es como poner una pluma en tu mano y así poder escribir un sinfín de experiencias compartidas con esas personas que siempre están muy cerca de ti. Hablar de amigos es hablar de esa familia que llega a ti como un regalo totalmente inesperado hasta convertirse en una parte esencial de tu vida. Por eso siempre hay un espacio para conmemorar la presencia de aquellos que nos acompañan en esta larga travesía y que con el tiempo se van haciendo un lugar muy especial dentro de nuestro corazón. ¿Cuánto valor puede tener un amigo en nuestros días? ¿Cuánto serías capaz de dar por esas personas? No sería exagerado pensar que una persona puede estar dispuesta a compartir con nosotros algo tan valioso como su tiempo y sus energías. Incluso muchos llegamos a estrechar lazos de amistad tan profundos y cargados de sentimientos que no imaginamos una vida sin la presencia de ellos, y por eso nos duele tanto cuando los vemos sufrir alguna herida física o emocional, o cuando sencillamente se duermen en la muerte. El valor incalculable de una bonita amistad es un regalo único que siempre debemos apreciar. >A world without friends is like having a blank book, but making room for friends in your life is like putting a pen in your hand and thus being able to write endless experiences shared with those people who are always very close to you. To talk about friends is to talk about that family that comes to you as a totally unexpected gift until they become an essential part of your life. That is why there is always a space to commemorate the presence of those who accompany us on this long journey and who over time become a very special place in our hearts. >How much value can a friend have in our days? How much would you be able to give for those people? It would not be an exaggeration to think that a person may be willing to share with us something as valuable as their time and energy. Many of us even get to strengthen bonds of friendship so deep and full of feelings that we cannot imagine a life without their presence, and that is why it hurts us so much when we see them suffer some physical or emotional injury, or when they simply fall asleep in death. The incalculable value of a beautiful friendship is a unique gift that we should always appreciate.  Los amigos hacen que la felicidad dure mucho y que la tristeza o el duelo sea más llevadero. A veces me pregunto sobre qué verán mis amigos en mí y cómo puedo yo corresponder a semejante vínculo, y es que cada vez que alguno de ellos me sorprende con un detalle o una invitación, percibo que todo eso viene con un sincero interés y un cariño que no disimula su bonita intención. Es esa misma felicidad la que siento cuando me esfuerzo para hacer algo por ellos y trato de compartir un tiempo de calidad cuando estamos juntos, sin dejar pasar tanto tiempo para hacerles saber que los tengo presentes en mi mente y en mi corazón constantemente. He podido percibir la amistad de un niño, la de un joven y también la de un adulto mayor, y en todos ellos he descubierto personalidades fascinantes que desprenden cualidades y habilidades dignas de encomiar. Mis amigos no son perfectos y no tienen que serlo para ganarse mi confianza y mi respeto, sabiendo que los verdaderos amigos te saben enseñar con las palabras oportunas y el ejemplo de sus bonitas acciones. Cuando dejas de pensar tanto en ti y empiezas a estar más pendiente de otras personas te das cuenta que ya estás cultivando un hermoso campo donde florece la verdadera amistad. >Friends make happiness last longer and sadness or grief more bearable. Sometimes I wonder about what my friends see in me and how I can reciprocate such a bond, and every time one of them surprises me with a detail or an invitation, I perceive that all this comes with a sincere interest and affection that does not hide its beautiful intention. It is that same happiness that I feel when I make an effort to do something for them and try to share quality time when we are together, without letting so much time pass to let them know that they are constantly present in my mind and in my heart. >I have been able to perceive the friendship of a child, that of a young person and also that of an older adult, and in all of them I have discovered fascinating personalities that exude qualities and abilities worthy of commendation. My friends are not perfect and they don't have to be to earn my trust and respect, knowing that true friends know how to teach you with the right words and the example of their beautiful actions. When you stop thinking so much about yourself and start to be more aware of other people you realize that you are already cultivating a beautiful field where true friendship flourishes.   ¿Qué puedo hacer yo por ellos? No sé si a muchos les pasa, pero en ocasiones siento cierta inquietud y necesito hacer algo por mis amigos. Una comida, una salida o una pequeña reunión para conversar son algunos de esos planes que pongo por delante a fin de poder disfrutar un tiempo con ellos. También sé que las ocupaciones y el estrés del día a día a veces nos ahogan y nos parecen dejar sin tiempo, pero bien vale el esfuerzo cuando apartamos un momento para compartir con esas personas que siempre están a tu lado. Las personas no duran para siempre, pero la esperanza de cultivar amistades eternas es algo totalmente real. Por eso siempre encuentro en cada nuevo día la oportunidad de aumentar mi amor y mi aprecio por los amigos que hoy tengo, mientras sigo abriendo mi corazón para muchas personas más que puedan llegar a mi vida y convertirse en ese amigo valioso en incondicional. >What can I do for them? I don't know if it happens to many of you, but sometimes I get restless and need to do something for my friends. A meal, an outing or a small meeting to talk are some of those plans that I put in front of me in order to enjoy some time with them. I also know that the busyness and stress of everyday life sometimes drown us and seem to leave us without time, but it is well worth the effort when we set aside a moment to share with those people who are always by your side. >People don't last forever, but the hope of cultivating eternal friendships is absolutely real.
