I will never forget my first interactions with the magical herb that is cannabis. I was 16, on the beach in Oregon, surrounded by kind & encouraging people. Around the age of 20 I started my first garden where cannabis plants grew aside tomatoes, basil, and medicinal herbs.
Between then & now I have lived on the road, in half a dozen countries and wasn't always able to have plants of my own. So now that I do have a space to garden, my girls are getting the best treatment.
While my northern bros & sisters are harvesting their buds, here in the southern hemisphere the cycle is just beginning. I planted these seeds about a month ago and have been carefully tending to them. Sadly some folks don't understand their medicine and still consider cannabis a drug. So, I needed to move these 20 or so pots from my front yard to a more hidden part of the garden.
And while I did so I also put some of the (hopefully) girls into bigger pots and added compost to all of them. I say hopefully girls because I still don't know which of these will be male and which will be aloud to stay in the garden till flowering in February/March.
I am so excited to see these plants grow tall and for their flowers to blossom.
