Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health
Opportunity is a good chance to use those melee monsters that can't usually attack from behind the tank. Bloodlust can be extra powerful as the weaker monsters are picked off first which could allow the buffs to compound.
Battle Example
This is a great example of the power of melee monsters in an Opportunity rules

With the low mana this was a great battle to go with Tarsa as Fire offers a large selection of low mana melee cards. The health and melee buffs from Tarsa will make this a hard hitting team.

CARD

WHY DID I CHOOSE IT?
| |-|-| |
|
Shield should help absorb some attacks. With the low mana count there shouldn't be too many opponent cards with a high attack value.
|
Heal should keep Xenith around for some time
|
A great chance to use this free mana card
|
Usually relegated to the second spot, but with Opportunity he can hang back this battle
|
Sneak will override the Opportunity and the Poison can hopefully take out some extra cards.
|
I love this card particularly for Equal Opportunity battles at low mana

Results
My opponent took out my tank's armor with Wizard, and Grund did his best to take me out with that powerful Double Strike from the back row. Antoid's Scavenger and Shield abilities scored me the victory by the thinnest of margins. My opponent had a great strategy taking away my armor, but my six cards were able to stand up to the hard hitting Grund in the end.
