Intercambio de Navidad en Familia 🎁 Christmas Gifts-Exchange with family 🎁

Hola a todos en la comunidad de Family and Friends❤️ Este es mi primer post en esta comunidad y me emociona mucho poder compartirles una pequeña pero significativa historia de nuestro intercambio de regalos en casa que hicimos este pasado 24 de diciembre. >Hello everyone in the Family and Friends community❤️ This is my first post in this community and I am very excited to share with you a small but meaningful story from our gift exchange at home that we did this past December 24th.  La Navidad en nuestra casa fue íntima este año, solo éramos mi mamá, mi esposo y yo. Desde temprano estuvimos preparando nuestra cena navideña, con gaitas venezolanas a todo volumen😂. Normalmente somos muchos, pero este años mi familia no pudo viajar ni nosotros tampoco y al ser algo tan íntimo, decidimos hacer un pequeño intercambio de regalos después de la cena. >Christmas at our house was intimate this year. It was just my mom, my husband, and me. We were preparing our Christmas dinner early in the morning, with Venezuelan gaitas at full volume😂. Normally, there are a lot of us, but this year, my family couldn't travel, nor could we, and since it was such an intimate event, we decided to do a small gift exchange after dinner.  Todo estaba planeado, hasta que, un par de horas antes de la medianoche, una amiga muy querida nos avisó que pasaría la noche con nosotros. Fue una sorpresa hermosa, pero también nos puso a correr: no teníamos un regalo para ella😖! Sin pensarlo mucho, fuimos a farmatodo, que es una franquisia de farmacias muy famosa de mi país: Venezuela. Donde se consigue DE TODO😋 y logramos solucionar con maquillaje para regalarle un pequeño detalle con mucho cariño. >Everything was planned, until a couple of hours before midnight, a very dear friend told us that she would be spending the night with us. It was a beautiful surprise, but it also made us run: we didn't have a gift for her😖! Without thinking much, we went to farmatodo, which is a very famous pharmacy franchise in my country: Venezuela. Where you can get EVERYTHING😋 and we managed to solve it with makeup to give her a small gift with a lot of love.  A las 12 de la noche, después de cenar y compartir historias, comenzó nuestro pequeño intercambio. Fue un momento lleno de risa, alegría y gratitud. Aunque los regalos no eran grandes ni costosos, el valor estuvo en la intención y en el cariño con el que cada uno los entregó. >At 12 midnight, after dinner and sharing stories, our little exchange began. It was a moment full of laughter, joy and gratitude. Although the gifts were not large or expensive, the value was in the intention and the affection with which each person gave them.  Mi mamá recibió un pequeño bolso que le compré y una franela que le compró mi esposo. >My mom received a small bag that I bought her and a shirt that my husband bought her.   José, mi esposo, recibió una taza de porcelana que mi mamá le dio con mucho cariño porque la que él usaba frecuentemente se le había quebrado hace algunas semanas y yo le regalé unos lentes de sol que él tanto deseaba. >José, my husband, received a porcelain cup that my mother gave him with great affection because the one he used frequently had broken a few weeks ago and I gave him a pair of sunglasses that he wanted so much.  Nuestra amiga, quien inesperadamente se sumó a la celebración estaba muy contenta de recibir su regalo ya que ella no se imaginaba que hubiera algo para ella. Aunque fue improvisado, ella se emocionó mucho y dijo que estaba muy agradecida. >Our friend, who unexpectedly joined the celebration, was very happy to receive her gift as she had no idea there would be anything for her. Even though it was improvised, she was very touched and said she was very grateful.  Este pequeño intercambio nos recordó que lo importante no son los objetos, sino el gesto y el amor con el que se comparten. Fue una noche que quedó grabada en nuestros corazones y que queremos repetir cada año, recordando siempre que la Navidad es un momento para dar desde el corazón. En mi caso, me hizo muy feliz ver la cara de los que recibían los regalos que les hice con tanto cariño, incluso más que abrir mis propios regalos. >This little exchange reminded us that what is important is not the objects, but the gesture and the love with which they are shared. It was a night that was engraved in our hearts and that we want to repeat every year, always remembering that Christmas is a time to give from the heart. In my case, it made me very happy to see the faces of those who received the gifts that I made them with so much love, even more than opening my own gifts.
