Last 2 summers there was seagull couple nesting on the rooftop of a building nearby mine. 1st year they were making such a noise, especially in the morning. It was a bit annoying but bearable. I used this chance to make few shots. I couldn't find the other ones but I'm sure I made more than only this one. The youngster was really looking funny and even ugly with all the puffy grey feathers. That's why I believe I surely have taken more shots - cause I remember the look of the young bird while watching it through the camera with the zoom tele lens! Maybe I'll find the other shots for another blogpost in the future.
The real Jonathan from the book would probably never nest! Nevertheless, all the seagulls for me are symbolically Jonathan cause I was very inspired by the book.
I made this shot with Nikon Z6 in combination with some zoom tele lens.
