After many years, I return to the beautiful streets and beaches of Macuto. Macuto was always known as a recreational and tourist destination. In its prime, families from the capital of Venezuela (Caracas) came to this place to enjoy its beaches and the beauty of its landscapes. Unfortunately, after the Vargas tragedy, now known as La Guaira, Macuto was never the same.

Sadly, this place suffered greatly in that tragedy of 1999. The rains swept everything away, and since then, Macuto and La Guaira in general have not been the same.
But since last year, I've been hearing that it has been recovering, and yesterday, while running an errand here, my husband and I strolled through its streets.
I don't really know much about this place. I just know that I came here when I was very little. A couple of times with my family, and what I remember most is the iconic Plaza de las Palomas.
Although I think that Something has been done to restore this place, but I think there's still a lot to be done. It still preserves some colonial houses. The most emblematic hotel, where famous and wealthy people stayed years ago, is in ruins. It would be great if it could be restored.
We were looking for a hotel to bring my mom for a couple of days. Thankfully, there are plenty of them in this area, and the prices aren't very expensive, although most people in my country can't afford them.
Was A beautiful walk. Well, we're surrounded by sea and trees. The sun was shining brightly, and I had to take advantage of the moment to take some photos and share them with you, so you can get to know a little about this place so beloved by many in my country. A place full of nostalgia, but also full of hope for a better sunrise. 😍
Believe I will bring my mother to Macuto soon. She doesn't know it and I know she will be enchanted by its warmth and its landscape. I hope to share with her a beautiful sunrise and a beautiful sunset. ❤️

Después de muchos años vuelvo a las hermosas calles y playas de Macuto, Macuto siempre fue conocido como un lugar recreacional y turístico, en sus mejores años las familias de la capital de Venezuela (Caracas) venían a este lugar para disfrutar de sus playas y de la belleza de sus paisajes, lamentablemente después que ocurrió la tragedia de Vargas, ahora llamado la Guaira, Macuto nunca volvió a ser lo mismo.

Tristemente este Lugar sufrió Mucho en aquella tragedia del año 1999, las Lluvias arrasaron con todo y desde ese entonces Macuto y la Guaira en general no ha sido igual.
Pero desde el año pasado estuve escuchando que se ha ido recuperando, y el día de ayer haciendo una diligencia en este lugar junto con mi esposo estuvimos paseando un poco por sus calles.
Realmente yo no conozco mucho este lugar, solo sé que cuando era muy pequeña vine un par de veces con mi familia y lo que más recuerdo es la emblemática plaza de las palomas.
Aunque creo que algo se ha hecho por recuperar este lugar, pienso que todavía falta mucho por hacer, conserva aún algunas casas coloniales, el Hotel más emblemático y en donde se alojaban hace años gente famosa y adinerada, está en ruinas, seria grandioso si se pudiera recuperar.
Estábamos en busca de un Hotel para traer a mi mamá a pasar un par de días, gracias a Dios hay muchos en este lugar y los precios no son muy costosos, aunque la mayoría de las personas en mi país no los pueden pagar.
Fue un bonito paseo, bueno estamos rodeados de mar y de árboles, el sol estaba muy radiante y tenía que aprovechar el momento de sacar algunas fotos y compartirlas con ustedes, para que conozcan un poco de este lugar tan querido por muchos en mí país, un lugar lleno de nostalgia, pero también lleno de esperanza por un mejor amanecer 😍
Creo que traeré a mi madre pronto a Macuto, ella no lo conoce y sé que quedará encantada de su calidez y de su paisaje, espero compartir con ella un bello amanecer y un hermoso atardecer ❤️
